Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) was founded in 1998 and delivers Bachelor and Masters programmes according to the highest standards of academic excellence, as well as planned PhD programmes. RGSL is located in the heart of Riga, with an international faculty and student environment.

Law firms, banks, and international companies recruit RGSL graduates for their excellent knowledge of European and International law and fluent legal English skills. The public service sector – ministries, parliaments, government agencies and courts – are also beneficiaries and employers of RGSL graduates.

Evidence of the quality of education at RGSL is the high employment rate of our alumni, not only in their home countries but also at international level. Many have qualified for administrative posts with the European Commission, European Court of Justice and European Parliament, as well as the World Bank, International Chamber of Commerce and United Nations.

RGSL offers specialisation in various disciplines of International and European Law, Diplomacy, Policy, Business and Finance, as well as Legal Linguistics. At the doctoral level, focus is placed on International Human Rights, International Public and International Private Law.

As part of its on-going dynamic institutional development, RGSL wishes to reach out to partners and leading private entities throughout the local community to explore the possibilities for sponsorship and enhanced cooperation.
