Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) is basking in warm feedback from European Society of International Law (ESIL) President Andre Nollkaemper about the 12th Annual ESIL Conference in Riga.
The conference was hosted by Riga Graduate School of Law and the Latvian Constitutional Court in cooperation with the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Latvian Ministry of Justice and the European Commission. The theme of this year’s conference was “How International Law Works in Times of Crisis”.
As ProfessorNollkaemper says: “The 12th ESIL Annual Conference in Riga was, by all accounts, a resounding success. With over 420 participants from 43 countries, the event clearly demonstrated the diversity and vitality of our Society. The event was also successful in terms of substance, with many captivating discussions on the relevance of international law in times of crisis. And, of course, it was a great occasion to meet so many colleagues from all over Europe and beyond.”
