STUDY AT RGSL / European Union Law and Policy
One-year academic LL.M programme with 60 ECTS credits (corresponding to 40 Latvian credits).
The programme is designed to promote highly qualified experts with knowledge of both European Union law and policy issues preparing for the work in national and international environments.
Courses cover following topics:
- Integration, law and policy
- freedom, security and justice
- internal market
- foreign and security policy
- negotiation techniques
- external relations of the European Union
The programme consists of academic studies and thesis writing. Following successful completion, students are awarded a master's degree (LL.M) in European Union Law and Policy.
The LL.M programme is also offered on a part-time basis. The duration of the part-time Masters programme depends on the schedule chosen by the student. In general, the duration of the programme is double that of the full-time programme.
