In courses taught on Masters level incoming students can obtain up to 12 ECTS in 1st semester and 18 ECTS in 2nd semester. If more ECTS necessary, students are allowed to combine with Bachelor level subjects, however, Masters and Bachelor schedules are not synchronized and partial class overlap will occur.

Course plan for 2024/25 will be available by June. Only after new course lists are published, preliminary Online Learning Agreements should be prepared, as there will be changes in subject offer. Just for illustration of how study periods (study modules) are divided, the incoming students can look at the previous 2023/24 bachelor course plans: Law & Diplomacy and Law & Business.
Guidelines for RGSL incoming students contain essential information about the academic calendar, how to select courses, access to study portal course outlines, about orientation days, study process, specific accommodation suggestions by previous RGSL exchange students, living costs in Riga, visa, medical insurance, buddy network and services.
For housing advice, the Latvian Student Association has prepared an LSA guide to student housing in Riga (do's and dont's, the city safety, lease agreements).
