The Riga Graduate School of Law has received the highest rating among law programmes in Latvia according to assessment by the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia.
Law is the major study direction at RGSL. The school offers Bachelor and Masters study programmes in law, business, diplomacy and legal linguistics, with particular focus on International and European law.
Altogether, 37 law programmes across 13 higher education institutions in Latvia.were evaluated, and RGSL programmes have been ranked in the “A" category.
Latvia will introduce a new accreditation system in the field of higher education accrediting a study direction, as opposed to the accreditation of individual programmes. In view of these changes, all study programmes run by higher education institutions in Latvia are reassessed by international teams of experts.
The Ministry has classified each study programme into one of the three categories - "A", "B" or "C", with a corresponding impact on their future accreditation. Group "A" includes programs that proved their quality and sustainability.
