Lecturer: Nataļja Točelovska, Ph.D candidate (Latvia) has 15 years of progressive professional experience in financial industry.  Natalļja’s most recent professional experience includes NASDAQ Member of the Council (since 2015), Scandiantech Sales Director (since 2014), and the Head of the Brokerage at SEB Bank Latvia (2006-2016). Two times she has won the NASDAQ Best Broker Award in Latvia. For more than 10 years Nataļja has been lecturing on accounting and financial economics to students in Latvia and abroad.  She has M.Sc. in Economics from University of Latvia. About the course: The course focuses on financial accounting and corporate finance. The first part of the course provides an understanding of financial information as presented in the financial statements as well as introduction to financial ratio analysis. The second part of the course shifts the focus on decisions the company is making on its financing and new projects.
