The topics covered in the Conference Papers were debated during the online conference "On our way to 2030: delivering for resilient and prosperous societies" on 10-11 December 2020. On the first day of the Conference, authors presented their articles and discussed the most relevant issues within the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) and Central Asian region such as law-making and regulatory reform in Georgia, Azerbaijan’s EU policy and access to justice for domestic and international investors in Kyrgyzstan.
The second day of the Conference accommodated three panel sessions on good governance and rule of law, sustainable economic development and fundamental rights. Among the participants were Dr. Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica, Parliamentary Secretary of the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Ineta Ziemele, Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union, Dr. Jan Zobec, Judge at the Constitutional Court of Slovenia, and others.
Conference Papers will be of particular interest to academics, policy-makers and practitioners, as well as national and international governmental and non-governmental institutions and bodies within the European Union, the ENP countries and Central Asia.
