On February 20, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. the Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) will host its annual conference on current human rights issues in Latvia and Europe. The conference will be held at the RGSL premises at Strēlnieku Street 4 k-2, 3rd floor, in the W32 auditorium, bringing together human rights experts, judges and practitioners.
This year's conference is dedicated to the latest case law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), as well as the interaction between international human rights treaties and the Latvian Constitution. Special attention will be paid to the latest rulings in Latvian cases and the development of the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights in the European Union.
The conference will be held in Latvian.
