On 30 April the Riga Graduate School of Law is honored to welcome Mr. Michael McGrath, European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection to hold an open lecture and discussion on Democratic Resilience — a timely and important conversation on democracy, the rule of law, and the future of the European Union.
This open lecture invites the RGSL community, as well as all those interested in legal and governance issues, to engage in a meaningful dialogue on the challenges shaping Europe’s future. The event is also an excellent opportunity for prospective students to experience the academic environment at RGSL.
Michael McGrath, European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection (2024–2029), is responsible for strengthening the core values that underpin the European Union, including safeguarding democratic systems, supporting independent media, and advancing anti-corruption efforts.
