In line with RGSL mission to strengthen its role as a leading research-driven institution in the Baltic region, RGSL will hold its 6th International Student Research Paper Conference on 17 October.
The conference will be opened by Laura Kadile, PhD, Director of RGSL Bachelor programmes, followed by the Excellence Awards, traditionally presented to the top academically distinguished students of the previous academic year.
Students will present their research in various thematic panels moderated by RGSL faculty. Past conference topics have included armed conflict and legal responsibility, human rights, diplomacy and politics, globalisation and finance, and Latvia’s role in international law.
Along with RGSL and international students, the conference is also open to law students from Latvian universities, with a separate section devoted to presentations in Latvian. Students are welcome to apply for participation until 29 September by e-mail: thesis(abols)rgsl.edu.lv
