Dear Future RGSL Masters students!
Do not miss the application deadline for RGSL Technology Law Masters programme! Applications are open at https://apply.rgsl.edu.lv/ until 21 July.
The one-year programme in Technology Law brings lawyers up to date with the complex regulatory systems developing around new technologies (e.g., data protection, ICT contracts, intellectual property rights, cybersecurity) and provides an innovative and competitive degree in a rapidly growing area of specialisation.
More about the Technology Law programme you can find here:
The Technology Law programme at RGSL is small, elite, and international, interdisciplinary by design, taught by researchers and practitioners on the regulatory front lines, where you can watch, learn, and participate with a real-time impact, says RGSL Visiting Professor Mark Leiser.
Mark teaches Digital Regulation, where students explore the fault lines of European digital law and unpack the GDPR, DSA, DMA, and their tensions with innovation, enforcement, and rights, as well as Disruptive Technologies, where students investigate how law responds (or fails to) when it encounters AI, neurotech, algorithmic policing, and platform manipulation.
“You will graduate with critical legal and technical literacy, a thesis worth publishing, deep understanding of digital regulation, law, consumer & data protection and AI, and last but not least, a mentorship to launch careers in policy, practice, or academia,” says Dr. Mark Leiser.
“The Masters programme in Technology Law offers unique and highly relevant course content. Courses are taught by top-level professionals, ensuring a truly high-quality learning experience. The study process is interactive, featuring a well-balanced mix of group work and individual tasks, which enables each student to utilise their strengths effectively,” says Monta Agafonova, a recent graduate of the RGSL Technology Law programme (2025). “I highly recommend applying if you’re looking for a programme that is both high quality and reflects today’s most relevant technology law topics.”
RGSL’s international faculty, studies focused on local and international law and held in English, a dynamic learning environment, and a close-knit student community are why our students choose us.
We also offer Masters programmes in Law & Finance as one and two-year masters programmes.
Global employers demand expertise that crosses over separate subjects, and we deliver that through case studies from leading European institutions, our world-class faculty of top academics and practitioners, and hands-on simulations of real market scenarios," says Natalja Točelovska, Assistant Professor in Accounting and Finance at RGSL.
“RGSL’s Master’s in Law & Finance programme is recognised in Europe for merging rigorous legal analysis with cutting-edge financial strategy—equipping graduates to excel in regulation, M&A, fintech, and cross-border transactions,” says Dr. Natalja Točelovska.
