This week, 19–23 October 2026, Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) welcomes parliamentary representatives from Moldova and Ukraine for a specialised training programme on the role of national parliaments in the European Union integration process.
Developed in cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima), the programme brings together RGSL’s academic expertise and Latvia’s practical experience, offering participants a deeper understanding of EU institutions, legal frameworks and the role of national parliaments in European integration.
Particular attention is given to Latvia’s experience of institutional reform and its path towards EU and NATO membership, alongside democratic governance and parliamentary processes.
Combining online learning with an intensive week of in-person training in Riga, the programme provides a setting for professional dialogue, the exchange of experience and closer cooperation among parliamentary representatives.
By sharing experience, we do more than exchange knowledge — we lay the foundations for lasting cooperation.
