This is a call for application to the Year 2 and Year 3 students of RGSL for participation in a high-profile student workshop provided by Philip Wood QC (Hon) of Allen & Overy with courtesy from Sorainen law office. We are looking to select three to five students who will be coached by the Sorainen lawyers to fill in a special questionnaire. Also the programme includes a lecture by Philip Wood held at the RGSL and a reception on the 14 October.
Short summary: this programme is designed to develop a method of measuring a jurisdiction by the use of key indicators, especially in the areas of banking, capital markets, corporate and litigation law involving sophisticated parties. The students answer set questions on the basis of a colour-coding and write a few lines on each question. The project will last approximately four to six weeks.
