The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme (JMSP) have announced start of the application process for the scholarships for the 2014/2015 academic year. The programme aims to increase the number of experts in the EU field and support Turkey’s administrative capacity building efforts for the effective implementation of the EU acquis, within the framework of Turkey’s negotiation process for full membership to the EU.
Riga Graduate School of Law is one of the institutions that have been recommended by JMSP (the Hosting Institutions Catalogue) for the studies. RGSL is an internationally recognized law school, teaching Law, Diplomacy, Business, Finance and Legal Linguistics studies in English for Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral programmes.

Who are invited to apply for a scholarship?
- Those currently working in Turkey in Public Sector (including professional organizations having legal public personality, chambers and local administration – Municipalities, Special Provincial Administration – Development Agencies etc.)
- Those currently working in Turkey in Private Sector (NGOs, companies etc.)
- Those currently working in Turkey in Universities as academicians or administrative staff
- Those who are senior undergraduate students or graduate (master or PhD) students in Turkey
Deadline for applications is 10 February 2014.
