On 3 December Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) invited participants to the RGSL Fall Excellence School, where 27 students from secondary schools in Latvia met for the final session. During the session, RGSL lecturer Ieva Miļūna discussed the qualifications of persons during armed conflict and prepared participants for the moot court. The moot court was on the basis of case materials of the US Supreme Court Judgment in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld. Both the parties and the judges had some time to prepare for the moot court and afterwards played their roles. This being the last of three sessions, the participants received a Certificate of Participation and a 10% discount for their first year of studies at RGSL. The certificates were issued by incoming RGSL Rector, Professor Mel Kenny, and RGSL visiting lecturer Christy Kollmar.
