RGSL joins EC funded QUALETRA project
On 12-14 December 2012 in Trieste RGSL is taking part in the first meeting of the two-year European Commission-funded QUALETRA project aimed at improving the quality of legal translation, with main focus on criminal proceedings. The project, launched on 19 November 2012, involves a consortium of national institutions from seven EU Member States (Belgium, Ireland, Italy, France, Latvia, Spain, the United Kingdom) as well as three European organizations representing translators (1) and European bar associations (2) delegating members from other Member States such as Portugal, Poland and Finland.
RGSL's main contribution will be in the areas of training, testing and certification. RGSL in the meeting will be represented by the Senior lecturer Christopher Goddard.
