RGSL Lecturer Christopher Goddard attended the International Conference on Legal Linguistics "Law and Language in International Partnerships and Conflicts" at the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi (Finland). He delivered a paper entitled "Fishing with new nets in familiar waters: a legal linguistic foray into comparative law, legal culture, and legal ideology" (to be published in The Lapland Law Review). The conference attracted distinguished participants and guests from the field of law and language.
