On July 2 2016 Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) took part in the “LAMPA” conversational festival, with a discussion on refugees, terrorism and human rights. In the discussion experts spoke about approaches to the refugee situation in Europe and throughout the world, with much of the discussion naturally focused on recent terrorist acts and ways to create a safe environment for the European and global community.
Taking part in the discussion from RGSL were the Rector, Prof. George Ulrich, lecturer Ieva Miļūna, a lawyer from law firm Grayston & Company, and RGSL International Division Director of Development Peter Gjortler, with Dmitrijs Trofimovs representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and RGSL graduate Rūdolfs Kaļķis as moderator of the discussion.
