On 25 November 2014, Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) became a full member of the Higher Education Export Association. The Association’s aim is to jointly develop Latvian higher education export capacity and to promote the internationalization of higher education environment. Eleven universities were co-operating in the Association so far, and RGSL became its twelfth member.
RGSL Director Karina Kulberga says: "Membership in the Association is a part of our School’s development strategy, which aims at attracting more and more foreign students in the future. We highly appreciate initiatives of other universities in targeted actions aimed at joining forces to acheieve our common goal: to promote Latvia at foreign markets as a target country for obtaining higher education. We hope for successful co-operation and that other Association partners will benefit from our experience in attracting foreign students."
The Higher Education Export Association is founded in 2011 by the Riga Technical University, the University of Latvia and the School of Business Administration Turība. The Association's commitment is the co-operation with a variety of State institutions aimed at promoting the export of Latvian higher education.
