Round-table discussion on ENACT research
RGSL in co-operation with the Open University (UK) and four other universities and research centres participates in the project "Enacting EU Citizenship" (2008-2010) which aims to promote civic society and is financed by the 7th framework program SSH-2007 of the European Commission.
In this context, RGSL organised a round-table discussion on the results of the research on 28 May 2010. During the seminar, issues concerning the role and possibilities of different interest groups in relation to EU citizenship were presented. In relation to Latvia, the groups chosen were non-citizens and migrant workers, as well as youth organizations.
The seminar was attended by leading Latvian researchers, experts and NGO representatives. Representatives from the Open University also attended the seminar.
