When Dana Ļaksa, a Law and Diplomacy student at RGSL, went on her Erasmus+ exchange to the University of Malta, she stepped into a very different academic environment.
Not just a new place, but a new level of responsibility.
✨ “Studying in Malta meant a strong focus on independent work — no mid-term assessments, just full responsibility for final assignments.”
Writing, research, and discipline became central to her studies. Each assignment required time, focus, and persistence.
“This experience strengthened my discipline, time management, and work ethic.”
But Erasmus+ is more than academics.
It’s about living in an international environment — meeting people from all over the world, discovering new cultures, and gaining new perspectives.
“I really valued being surrounded by such a diverse and international community.”
Dana’s advice is to be honest with yourself about living abroad, stay open to new experiences, and plan ahead — especially when it comes to housing and budgeting.
This is what RGSL offers — the opportunity to challenge yourself, grow, and gain an international perspective.
Want to study at RGSL? This is your opportunity — applications are open until 20 July!
