When Kārlis Lipšāns, a Law and Business student at RGSL, went on his Erasmus+ exchange to the University of Trento in Italy, he didn’t expect it to become one of the most meaningful experiences of his life.
Studying in Italy opened up a completely new perspective on law.

At first, the semester-long courses felt unfamiliar compared to RGSL’s modular system, but they allowed for a much deeper understanding of each subject.
But the real experience happened beyond academics.
Living with local students. Building friendships. Becoming part of a new culture.

Even without speaking Italian, Kārlis was fully included — in conversations, study sessions, and everyday moments that made the experience unforgettable.
