The Intensive Programme is developed for professionals from public administration with at least two years of work experience. Over a period of 5 weeks, from 28 September until 31 October, the Programme provides comprehensive training on the legal functioning of the European Union, as well as international trade relations, market economy reforms, good governance and the rule of law.
Autumn 2026 Intensive Programme will offer the following courses: EU Law, EU Institutions and Decision-Making, Anti-corruption and Good Governance, European Political Economy, International Trade and Reforms to Strengthen Market Economy. Furthermore, there is also an introductory course on global approaches to regulating digital innovation. Upon passing of exams and completion of the Programme, participants receive a certificate of programme completion and 1 ECTS for each course.
This Programme is funded by the U.S. State Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. All costs associated with the Programme are covered by the Programme donors.
