International law academics from three Baltic States have gathered in Estonian Academy of Sciences for the inaugural conference of the Baltic Branch of the International Law Association "International law and small states" . International Law Association was founded at the end of the 19th century and is still one of the most prestigious places for the development of international legal thought.
RGSL in the Inaugural conference of the Baltic States' Branch was represented by Professor Ineta Ziemele and lecturer Arina Melse.
All three scientific editors of the Baltic Yearbook of International Law – Lauri Mälksoo (Estonia), Ineta Ziemele (Latvia) and Dainius Žalimas (Lithuania) were supporting the event.
