We are proud to highlight that RGSL Assistant Professor in Medical Law, Laura Kadile, will contribute to the 30th World Congress for Medical Law, taking place on 5–7 August 2026 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Her scholarly contribution, “Where Death and Life Meet: Ensing Dignity and Respect in Palliative Care for Vulnerable Patients: The Latvian Example in Comparative Perspective”, engages with fundamental and sensitive questions at the core of contemporary healthcare and legal systems.
Bringing together leading experts, scholars, and practitioners from across the globe, the Congress represents a key platform for advancing dialogue on the most pressing challenges in health law and bioethics.
Assistant Professor Kadile’s contribution at this level of international discourse not only reflects RGSL’s commitment to academic excellence and global engagement, but also directly enriches the study experience of our students by integrating cutting-edge research, comparative perspectives, and real-world insight into the classroom.
