The Central Finance and Contracts Agency as a cooperation institution has supported project No 184.108.40.206/21/A/008 "Students' socially responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable environmental innovations" within the specific goal No 1.1.1 "Increase the research and innovative capacity of Latvian scientific institutions and the ability to attract external funding by investing in human resources and infrastructure" under the measure No 220.127.116.11 "Innovation grants for students". RGSL joins as a project partner. The project is supported by European Regional Development Fund.

Project implementation period: from 1 September 2021 to 19 December 2023
General goal: to positively influence society by promoting the formation and growth of new companies that will try to solve society and/or sustainability problems.
Specific goal: to provide students with high-quality knowledge transfer, practical workshops, the opportunity to solve real commercial problems and the opportunity to develop their business ideas through the business incubator and laboratories.
Main project activities: the programme consists of 4 parts: inspiration, education, incubation and sustainability:
1. Inspiration - various inspiring events, including seminars, discussions, audio broadcasts, and industry events;
2. Education - 1-3 month focused training courses and business laboratories;
3. Incubation - participation in a business incubator;
4. Sustainability - consultations with industry experts.
Activities of RGSL: to contribute to the achievement of the project's goal by providing:
a) student access to the educational and incubation components of the project,
b) knowledge, expertise and availability of appropriate infrastructure in the field of legal sciences,
c) mentor resources for student work groups,
d) providing access to lectures and seminars in open lecture mode for students and academic staff involved in the project.
Project budget: EUR 1,057,882.15 (ERDF EUR 899,199.82; private co-financing EUR 158,682.33)
RGSL budget: EUR 7,200.00 (EUR ERDF 5,040.00; private co-financing EUR 2,160.00)
