The Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL), in collaboration with Södertörn University and the Kyiv School of Economics, has launched the second session of the “Baltic-Black Sea Legal Initiative: Empowering Future Ukrainian Lawyers” on 22 April 2025.
This intensive two-week training programme brings together 20 students from Ukraine, offering in-depth courses in EU Law, EU Integration, Human Rights, Good Governance and Anti-Corruption.
The project aims to share Sweden’s academic expertise in EU Law and Latvia’s experience as a relatively recent EU member state. It equips Ukrainian students with vital legal and governance tools as Ukraine moves closer to European integration, helping to prepare them for active roles in their country’s reform process.
The initiative is funded by the Swedish Institute.
