RGSL Associate Professors Aleksandrs Fillers and Lauris Rasnačs took part in the first meeting of the Management Committee of COST Action CA25166 “STONE – Steward-Ownership Network”, held on 8 October in Brussels. During the meeting, the members of the Management Committee elected Dr Alessio Bartolacelli, a visiting professor at RGSL, as Chair of the Action.
The Action brings together researchers and practitioners from across Europe to study steward ownership as a corporate organisational form, examining its legal foundations, the conditions for its creation, and its corporate and financial structure, with the ultimate aim of developing new model laws for this unique form of corporate ownership.
Latvia participates in the Action as an Inclusiveness Target Country. RGSL’s involvement contributes to the School’s research in company law and corporate governance, provides a basis for further international cooperation in this field, and strengthens Latvia’s scientific profile.
