In line with RGSL mission to strengthen its role as a leading research-driven institution in the Baltic region, RGSL held its 6th International Student Research Paper Conference on 17 October.
Students presented their research in various thematic panels moderated by RGSL faculty. The best research was awarded with RGSL souvenirs. The first place for the best research paper in the last academic year was given to Marta Jurkāne for a paper titled “Parental Leave in Latvia: Challenges in Aligning National Legislation with EU Standards”.
The two incentive awards were given to Katrīna Emma Masī for the paper titled “Justifying ICC intervention: Uganda's Failed Efforts to End the Lord's Resistance Army”, and Evelīna Ērgle for the paper titled “The development of Solidarity Rights. Influence of the geopolitical situation and national disparities: The United Nations Declaration on the Right to Development”.
