Yesterday evening, we officially welcomed 29 new Master’s students to RGSL, beginning their studies in the Business Law and Finance and Technology Law programmes.
To mark the start of their journey at RGSL, our programme directors shared their wishes for the new Master’s students.
Dr. Aleksandrs Fillers, “Business Law and Finance” Master’s Programme Director:
"I am glad you have chosen this programme, and I look forward to working with you
over the coming year.
You have picked a field where law and finance are inseparable, and I think
you will find that the two illuminate each other in ways that are not obvious
from the outside. I want you to leave here able to move between them without
hesitation.
You have come here from different jurisdictions and different professional
backgrounds, and I encourage you to make full use of that. A great deal of what
you learn will come from the people sitting next to you.
Welcome to RGSL. I hope the year proves worth the effort you put into
it.”
Dr. Rūta Liepiņa, “Technology Law” Master’s Programme Director:
"We are delighted to welcome our new students to the Master’s
programmes in Business Law and Finance and Technology Law! It is great to
see such enthusiasm as you begin this new stage of your professional journey.
At RGSL, we recognise you as professionals bringing your own
experience and perspectives to the classroom. Our aim is to build on that
experience and advance your knowledge and skills in your chosen specialisation.
This journey is what you make of it — take the best, leave
the rest, and make the most of the opportunities ahead.
Welcome to RGSL, and we look forward to seeing you in the
lecture halls."
Welcome to RGSL! We wish all 29 of our new Master’s students an inspiring and rewarding academic year ahead.
